The Tory Answer to West Lothian Question What do we think if Ken Clarke's proposal?
Scottish MPs would not be allowed to get involved with the revision stages of laws governing England, but would be allowed to vote on the final reading.
Seems like a load of rubbish to me!

Agreed.
Why should they have a vote at all on issues relating only to England?
English MPS don't have any say in matters in the Scottish Parliament.

The obvious answer is to ditch the Scottish parliament and the welsh assembly and just have BRITISH MP'S voting on matters which concern BRITAIN...Easy as that.

Absolutely.
There should be symmetrical devolution.
I suggest that the British government be made into a very small body covering only issues such as macro-economic policy, international affairs &c.&c., with an English Parliament and government set up along with a Welsh one (I mean a real one, not that silly thing foisted onto Wales).
