"You Euros loved Clinton and he was one of the worst Presidents in American history. He screwed our country bad but you guys though he was peachy keen. Yes Gator ... Isn't it odd? You guys loved Blair, and he was one of the worst Prime Ministers in British History. He screwed our country bad, but you guys thought he was peachy keen .... And we all loved Gorbachev, but the Russians thought he was the pits .... So it goes!

I thought he was a stand up guy supporting Bush in the WOT but knowing that he was Labor made me wonder about other things.

Most of us are from the UK which is not part of Europe. That aside, I was never a fan of Clinton. I was surprised when you Americans re-elected him. Seems like most of you thought he was "peachy keen".

Obama will ban them if he can get away with it. Don't look at what he says, but what he has done. Anyone who was a board member of the Joyce Foundation is militantly anti-freedom. http://www.joycefdn.org

That list probably needs updating, Bulldog. I see they refer to David Blunkett as the "current Home Secretary".

Bulldog- 11-12-2008

Yep, but the best I could find on the spur of the moment.

If the Monica story would haver broke a month earlier he would never have been re-elected. So the country doesn't mind a bad president as long as he's faithful to his wife?

Bulldog- 11-12-2008

The country doesn't like scumbags. They liked Clinton enough to elect him for two terms.

Highlander- 11-12-2008

The country doesn't like scumbags. They liked Clinton enough to elect him for two terms. and Bush.

Gator- 11-12-2008

The country doesn't like scumbags. They liked Clinton enough to elect him for two terms. and Bush. Bush wasn't a scumbag like Clinton. Bush was wrong to spend more money than he took in and not to seal the borders and do some other Left Wings things and that is the reason he does not have the respect of Conservatives like me. However, he is a decent man. I would equate him to Jimmy Carter. Carter was a terrible president but I would never call him a scumbag. He was a decent man that was wrong on the issues. Not only was Clinton wrong on the issues but he was a terribly flawed individual. He had no morals. Everything from being a draft dodger during time of war to doing filthy things in the Oval Office.
