We've been getting a lot of new names being registered in the last few days. Mostly these appear to be spammers who enter the names of various commercial sites as their homepages. I suspect that this is being done by some software. Doesn't really matter but it's a bit annoying and we don't really want a lot of usenames registered that'll never get used and it'll give the impression that we have more mebers than we really do. So, reluctantly I've set the new members thingy so newbies have to be ok-ed & I'll disallow any obvious spam artists. I'll not delete any that have been registered up to now though in case I get a real one by mistake. I hope this doesn't put off any real newbies who are most welcome.

Hi, I am new here. I am an American from Florida. I am an Environmental Engineer by trade but took an early retirement in 2003. I am a Vietnam veteran and an advid firearms collector and shooter. I am a certified NRA firearms instructor and range officer. My wife is a recently retired school teacher. I am to the right of Ronald Reagan and have always had great respect for Margaret Thatcher. I proudly voted for Bush twice. I don't like the fact he increased spending and didn't seal the borders but all in all he has done a good job in my opinion. Much better than that Moonbat Gore or that Traitor Kerry. I am also an Admin on a site called Conservativeunderground.com. We have a few Brits on the site and I have always enjoyed their perspective. Can I play in your sandbox now and then?

I can handle a diverse opinion. I can take it but I can also dish it out. One of the fellas on ConseervativeUerground is a Brit by the name of Hampshire Brit. When he first started posting we had some knock down drag out discussions. After a year or so we realized that we had a lot more in common than we had differences. We are best Buds now. I had to get over my stereotype of him being "commie eurotrash" and he had to get over his stereotype of me being a "stupid redneck".

lol, well we're all commie eurotrash over here fella. My friend Hampshire Brit would claim that the UK is not really Europe so therefore the term eurotrash could not apply to him or his countrymen. Upon extensive discussion that claim didn't hold up anymore than my claim that being raised in the Green Swamp of Polk Country, Florida did not make me a redneck. :D
