Moderate Muslims - vs- Screaming Islamoloonies
On 31st October, Islam4UK, headed by known Islamoloon Andy Choudry will be protesting in London for the introduction of Sharia Law in the UK. Often, I've heard calls for moderate Muslims to face up to people like this. Now they are. British Muslims for Secular Democracy are organising a counter demonstration, along with various other Muslim groups. This is going to be interesting. http://bastardoldholborn.blogspot.com/

I, for one, am delighted that moderate Muslims are ready to stand up and be counted in support of tolerant, liberal, democratic values. All power to the elbows of Dr Mahboob and his colleagues ! Immoderate Islamism is incompatible with our way of life, of that I have no doubt. But a reformed, non-political, non-ideological Islam can certainly be part of that way of life, and so this is to be warmly welcomed.

I concur and hope the moderates outnumber the nutters by some degree.
