I guess I am a dead man then because our cat does almost all those things. We have a free access cat door in our house. The cat can come and go outside at will. She loves to catch things and them waiting for us on the bed whenever we wake in the morning.
Two nights ago my wife let out a shout. It seems our cat had brought in a squirrel.
Now the squirrel was not dead. Not by a long shot. He was very much alive and got lose from the cat inside the house.
It was like a three ring circus trying to catch the little guy. He was scared to death and he running up the walls and over the furniture and behind things. The cat was two steps behind him all the time.
He had too many hiding places in the house and the cat could not catch him and neither could I.
The only way I was able to get him out was open all the doors and chase him around until he finally found one of the escape routes.
I am still pissed at the cat. I am also afraid that she will catch a rattlesnake and bring it into the house. She has brought in several good size non poison snakes.
