Has anyone been getting unrequested emails from this site? A member has emailed me saying that he is getting automatically triggered emails from this forum saying that he has requested to be advised when topics are replied to.
I assume it's just a software glitch.
Has anyone else been getting them?

Nothing here.
I get alerts when I've been sent a P.M.
I assumed that I'd get e-mails if I click on the "notify me when a reply is posted" box, which I've never done yet.

It's not just us, since I started the thread on their support forum, several other forum administrators have reported the same (see link above)
No response from Forumer yet though.
Sorry to anyone inconvenienced by this.

email notifications I get 'em too - but they go straight to my spam folder so don't bother me unduly!

Ive had no emails, but yesterday the site just went WEIRD. Everytime i came to it I had to log in as it wasn't remembering my password and username.

The server problems don't seem to be improving do they.
I've noticed a lot of down time and slow time lately.
Not sure how long we should put up with it before trying a new host really.
Bit of a pain to do, but it we may end up having to.

Is it possible to upgrade the quality of the service, or the bandwidth which the forum has, by paying a fee?
Because I'd be happy to throw in a contribution if other regulars/site admin will too.

Not as far as I know.
I have to admit I haven't enquired but it's not been offered as an option.
I'll look into it.

I've noticed this over the last few weeks, since they had a series of upgrades.
It was supposed to be teething trouble, but it's not improving is it?
The problem with moving to another host is that we wouldn't be able to move all the exisiting threads over. We could keep this forum as an archive I suppose.
