Gordon Brown urges families to stop wasting food
Gordon Brown has urged families to make saving food as important as saving energy as he arrived for a crunch G8 meeting with world leaders. The prime minister said "unnecessary" purchases were contributing to price hikes that have left many people struggling to pay bills, a new report claims. Speaking on board the Prime Minister's flight, Mr Brown said: "If we are to get food prices down, we must also do more to deal with unnecessary demand, such as by all of us doing more to cut our food waste which is costing the average household in Britain around £8 per week." The G8 meeting will look into the rising costs of fuel and groceries. </snip> http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/labour/2261215/G8-summit-Gordon-Brown-urges-families-to-stop-wasting-food.html Oh, it does set me in to a rage to be lectured by some fat unelected mugabe wannabe. As a vegetarian, i already eat 1/10th the food footprint of a meat eating person. How dare that chubby meat eater lecture uz on wasting food. Its the new bottom - being lectured by unelected newlab-PF nutritionist. Perhaps the PM should send a message to the scottish whisky profession to save barley and to cut back on production. Why can't he tell his corporate cronys to save food rather than passing his sheep droppings on to the middle class. Oh i can't wait until that authoritarian screwup is back on his loathian back bench.

So What is Gordon Eating Today? As his government directs the people to cut back and eat crusts, Gordon will be eating today: The food is being prepared by one of Japan's Michelin starred chefs. Still Guido would advise gourmet Gordon to go easy on the salt-grilled bighand thornyhead. Particularly appropriate that the Prime Mentalist is eating G8 fantasy dessert. http://www.order-order.com/

Incredible really, when you think of it. This must be the most wasteful government in British history. And here they are, instructing the the very people who's pockets they continue to pick to fund their wasteful big state spend-a-thon to cut back on food. Simply unbelievable.
